Happy New Year to you all. I sincerely wish that each of you will have a healthy, happy and prosperous 2010.
Tomorrow is a big day in the Stamping World. It's the kick-off of Stampin' Up!'s annual event, Sale-a-Bration. You'll be able to enjoy some fabulous new, exclusive products, as well as incredible incentives (did someone say FREE?). The new Occasions Mini Catalog start tomorrow as well. You can see both of these publications by clicking on the buttons on the right, or here for Sale-a-Bration and here for the Occasions Mini.
So let's get started with a card I made to show off two of the products you can get for free with a $50 purchase during Sale-a-Bration.
Sorry I couldn't get a crisper pricture. But the next one will shed a little more light on the details.
The base of the card is Very Vanilla card stock, but the front is completely covered - the upper half is DSP from Bella Bleu. The bottom is Kraft. The most interesting things about this card, however, are the details. The kraft taffeta ribbon, the multi-layered punched main focus circle medallion, the delicate paper lace. Here's a detail picture of some of it:
Let's start at the top. The punches used were: 1-3/4" circle, scalloped circle, 1-1/4", 1-3/8". The stamp set is the wonderful new (and FREE) Vintage Labels (119122 or 118392). If you are looking for a way to save space in your craft area, then try the new cling stamps ("clear mount") that Stampin' Up! is now offering as an option. And that lovely lacey border beneath the ribbon? That's Very Vanilla card stock punched with another Sale-a-Bration gift you might choose: the Scallop Trim Border (118402).
Even better news, hostess can earn additional Sale-a-Bration gifts with qualifying workshops during the event. AND, if this is the time you finally decide to become a demonstrator and have as much fun as I do, there are even more perks for you... free stamps from SU, and a special free gift as a thank you from me. Contact me for the details: carol@stillstamping.com Send me your phone number and I'll call you to tell you all about it.
Happy stamping!
Carol
