OK, it's a stretch. So it's really a bird perched on the bicycle seat. But I got your attention didn't I?
The stamp set I used for this summery card are from Moving Forward, this year's Ronald McDonald House stamp set from Stampin' Up! $3 from each set purchased will be donated directly to this worthy organization that helps so many families during very stressful times. And the images this year are bound to cheer up anyone who is lucky enough to receive a card made using them.
This is a sizzling hot color scheme, don't you think? Rose Red, Tangerine Tango, and Rich Razzleberry, all set off by crisp Whisper White. The bottom half of the card is DSP from Floral District (it reminded me of the spokes of the bike wheels!), and the top half was embossed on my Big Shot using the new Chevron folder. Chevrons are currently very popular, if you haven't noticed! The rick-rack accent across the middle was cut out using the XL die Tasteful Trims. I thought it echoed the chevron pattern nicely.
I made a second version with one less layer and an additional embellishment - a brad in the center of the front wheel. Have a peek and let me know which you like better.
