Autumn is my favorite time of year here in south central Pennsylvania. The days are getting cooler, and although the leaves haven't started changing yet, it won't be long! So let's bring some Fall color into our homes with stamping. Here's a project to get you in the mood.
I received this stamp set (Paisley Prints - 120817 w 121121 c) at Stampin' Up!'s Convention in July and hadn't used it since. My inspiration was a frame shared by Mary Brown in this post. I loved the concept and went to the local dollar store to find a frame to make my own. Then I went digging in my card stock scraps for these colors: More Mustard, Always Artichoke, Pumpkin Pie and Bravo Burgundy. The background squares are River Rock and Cajun Craze, and I added some texture with the Texturz plate and Big Shot. There's lots of dimension with foam dimensionals behind some of the elements, and the hemp twine bow adds even more texture.
After I made the framed piece, I decided to take it one step further and make a greeting card using the same materials and layout. Here's the result:
