Spring - A Time For Change and New Colors

Just as the earth is bursting out with gorgeous Spring colors after a bleak winter, Stampin' Up! has announced it is time for another burst of color - a Color Renovation.  What will this entail?  A beautiful new palette of fresh colors, some returning favorites from previous In Colors, and a shake-up of the old color groups.  Instead of the Color Families you may be used to by now, the colors will be categorized into four Color Collections.  Will there still be new In Colors each year?  You bet!  Wow, what gorgeous choices you'll have for your scrapbooks, cards, gifts, home decor items.

Already own a Big Shot?  If you win, you can share the joy of die-cutting with your friend, your Mom, your daughter, even your grandchildren!  A few days ago, I taught my 3-yr. old daughter Ava how to make butterflies using my Big Shot and the Beautiful Butterflies die (exclusive to Stampin' Up!).  She loves crafting, she loves learning new things and she LOVES butterflies.  Needless to say, she loved using the Big Shot, and she was very good at it, too, insisting on cranking it all by herself.  But the end of our session (when we ran out of paper), she was even loading up the plates, die, and paper all by herself. 

 

That's younger sister Charlotte "assisting".  By this time next year, she'll probably be ready to use it herself.  And their Mommy mentioned how great the Big Shot will be when the girls have school projects to do a few years down the road.

I am so excited to share the latest and greatest with you - the 2008 Fall/Winter Stampin' Up! Catalog and Idea Book!  I attended the SU Convention last week in Salt Lake City, and as usual, came home with my head spinning with fresh new ideas, tips, projects and products to share with you.
